Information:
Deck/Work Over Mode (Low Idle Power Shift)
The transmission will shift according to the operator input by using the up arrow and the down arrow. The transmission will operate as a low idle power shift transmission and the transmission will shift at an engine speed less than or equal to 850 rpm.Quick to NEUTRAL
Note: This function is applicable only in the pump application. When the quick to neutral switch is activated, the transmission quickly downshifts to the NEUTRAL position. When the quick to neutral switch is deactivated, the transmission will remain in the NEUTRAL position until the transmission shift control is placed in the NEUTRAL position. Then, the transmission can be shifted to the desired gear.Switching Drop Box Modes
Note: The following conditions must be met in order to switch drop box modes.
The engine must remain running at LOW IDLE.
Transmission gear is in NEUTRAL.
The transmission has no output speed. Four Wheel Drive (4WD) Switching Modes
Procedure for Engaging 4WD
Apply the brakes and come to a complete stop.
Place the transmission in neutral.
Press the brakes and maintain the engine at LOW IDLE.
Place the transmission in the lowest possible gear. The TH31 should be placed in the 1F gear. The TH35 should be placed in the 2F gear.
Toggle the 4WD/2WD switch to the 4WD position.
Drive the vehicle in the forward direction for one half the length of the vehicle. Engine speed will be limited until the shift is complete and the vehicle stops moving.
Apply the brakes and stop the vehicle.
Place the transmission in neutral.
Check the keypad shifter for 4WD engagement. Note: If the transmission is in 4WD then the procedure is complete. If the transmission control display is still blinking, repeat the procedure and direction.Procedure for Disengaging 4WD
Apply the brakes and come to a complete stop.
Place the transmission in neutral.
Press the brakes and maintain the engine at low idle.
Place the transmission in the lowest possible gear. The TH31-E61 should be placed in the 1F gear. The TH35-E81 should be placed in the 2F gear.

This function on the TH31-E61 and TH35-E81 transmissions outputs a variable electric current. This current can be used to power displacement control solenoids on variable displacement hydraulic pumps or other solenoids or equipment requiring a variable input current. The transmission supports two separate variable output currents. The ECM uses proportional drivers to output a current from 0 amp – 2 amp which are controlled using two switches for each current driver, an on/off switch, and a current increment/decrement switch. When the on/off switch is moved to the ON position, the output
