(1) Manifold (2) Plug in the fuel filter base
Disconnect the 238-0112 Temperature Sensor Gp from the engine harness. Remove the fuel temperature sensor from the bottom of manifold (1) .
Install the 241-6157 Plug and 228-7100 O-Ring Seal in the hole in the manifold in place of the sensor.
Remove plug (2) from the fuel filter base. Install the 260-9229 Connector and 6V-7970 O-Ring Seal in the hole of the fuel filter base in place of the plug. Install the fuel temperature sensor into the 260-9229 Connector .Torque for the fuel temperature sensor ... 20 3 N m (15 2 lb ft)
Connect the 383-7550 Sensor Harness As to the engine harness.
Route the 383-7550 Sensor Harness As under the fuel filter elements. Use the three 7K-1181 Cable Straps to secure the harness to the ladder clips that are under the fuel filter elements.
Connect the 383-7550 Sensor Harness As to the fuel temperature sensor.
