ACTION REQUIRED
1. Verify that the heated mirror attachment is working correctly. Follow the instructions in the Operation and Maintenance Manual. Physically touching the mirrors will best verify correct functionality. The LED switch may be illuminated but that will not guarantee that the mirror attachment is functioning properly.
1a. Rotate the cab light switch to the most clockwise position. This is the 5th position for rear floodlights. Check the surface temperature of the mirrors. If the mirrors do not show an increase in surface temperature a repair to the heated mirror attachment is not needed. If the mirrors begin to show an increase in surface temperature, proceed to step 2.
2. Remove the cab roof cap to access the top of the cab.
3. Remove and correctly install the 236-6207 wire harness as depicted in Image 1. To install the harness correctly it may be necessary to rotate the harness end for end.
4. Verify that the heated mirror attachment is now functioning correctly before installing the roof cap.
5. Reinstall the roof cap to the cab.
