ROLLER GP-TRACK-SINGLE FLANGE 6I9717 - Caterpillar

1. Remove four bolts (1) and floor plate (2) from each side of the machine. Remove bolts (3) and panel (4) on each side of the machine. 2. Remove bolts (5) that hold the bucket to the ROPS from each side of the machine. 3. Remove the bolts that hold cover (6) to the ROPS. Use two persons and remove the cover from the ROPS. The weight is approximately 85 lb. (39 kg). 4. Disconnect headlight wires (7).5. Install three 1/2"-13 NC forged eyebolts in the top of the ROPS and fasten a hoist. 6. Remove eleven bolts (8) and spacers from each side that hold the ROPS to the frame. The bolts are tightened to a torque of 1700 130 lb.ft. (2300 175 N m) at installation. 7. Remove ROPS (9) from the machine. The weight of the ROPS is 5827 lb. (2643 kg).Install Roll-Over Protective Structure (ROPS)
1. Install three 1/2"-13 NC forged eyebolts in the top of the ROPS. Fasten a hoist and put ROPS (1) into position on the machine. 2. Install the spacers and bolts (2) that hold the ROPS to the frame. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 1700 130 lb.ft. (2300 175 N m). 3. Connect headlight wires (3) together. 4. Use two persons to put cover (4) on the top of the ROPS. Put the cover in position and install the bolts that hold it in place. 5. Install two bolts (5) on each side of the machine that hold the bracket to the ROPS. 6. Install panel (6) and floor plate (7) on each side of the machine.
