To prevent possible personal injury, make sure all the pressure in the air system has been released before any air lines are disconnected.
The secondary air reservoir is located beneath the cover at the rear of the cab. 1. Put identification marks on all hoses assemblies for installation purposes. Disconnect hose assembly (1) from secondary air reservoir (2). 2. Disconnect four hose assemblies (3), (4), (5) and (6) from secondary air reservoir (2).
View From Under The Cab.3. Remove four bolts (7) and the washers that hold the secondary air reservoir to the cab. Remove the secondary air reservoir from the cab. The following steps are for installation of the secondary air reservoir.
View From Under The Cab.4. Put the secondary air reservoir in position on the cab floor, and install four bolts (7) and the washers that hold the secondary air reservoir to the cab. 5. Connect four hose assemblies (3), (4), (5) and (6) to secondary air reservoir (2). 6. Connect hose assembly (1) to secondary air reservoir (2).7.
