Installation Procedure for the Electrical Components
Lay out the wiring harnesses, 173-3714 Wiring Harness (Long) and 173-3713 Wiring Harness (Short) .

Alternate location of switchNote: If you use the alternate location for the B-series, use a second 172-4478 Plate with the switch.
Duplicate the template in Illustration 35 in order to locate the holes. Remove the console. Fasten the template to the console. Determine the position of the 7N-2353 Switch on the console. Drill a 12 mm (0.469 inch) hole in the console. Drill a 3.0 mm (0.125 inch) hole for the second hole. Place the 7N-2353 Switch in the 172-4478 Plate . Install the plate and the switch into the hole in the console.

Connect the wiring harness to the toggle switch. Connect the green wire to the terminal that is identified by the number 3. Connect the yellow wire to the terminal that is identified by the number 2. Refer to Illustration 29.

Connect the yellow wire from the toggle switch to the relay terminal of the start switch.

Install the 6V-1574 Grommet into the hole that is located on the floor in the right rear corner of the cab. Run the wire from the cab, through the grommet, and back to the valve. Use nylon ties to fasten the wiring harness to the existing wiring harness.
Connect the green wire to the valve. In order to ground the wiring harness, connect the black wire to a mounting bolt of the valve. There is a ring terminal that is installed on the black wire.Check the System
After the electrical system and the hydraulic system are connected, check the system for proper operation. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7304 for more information.
Purge the hydraulic system of air. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7304, "Hydraulic System Air - Purge".Schematics
