(4) Bushing Single flange track rollers are located on each side of the machine. The track rollers are fastened to the bottom section of the track roller frame. The track rollers are in contact with the rails on the track links. The flanges on the track rollers prevent the lateral movement of the track links. The inside surfaces of the track links equally distribute the weight of the machine over the track.The track rollers have Duo-Cone seals (1) at both ends of shaft (3). Thrust washers (2) absorb the side load on the roller. Bushings (4) put the side load on the roller. The amount of lateral movement or end clearance of the shaft cannot be adjusted. The center of shaft (3) is an oil reservoir. This oil is used for lubrication of the bearing surfaces.Refer to Systems Operation, "Undercarriage" for information about the arrangements of the track rollers.
