PROBLEM
All 242-3958 voltage regulators need to be removed from dealer part stock. The new 289-4769 voltage regulator should be used instead of the 242-3958 as a service replacement.
ACTION REQUIRED
Improvement to correct units failing due to failure mode of High humidity/heavy fog causing no output voltage or erratic voltage on LC6 frame generators.
SERVICE CLAIM ALLOWANCES
Submit one claim for all parts removed from dealer parts stock.
PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
