(1) Supply line (right pump) (2) Check valve (3) Passage (4) Pilot valve (5) Swing priority valve (6) Line (7) Supply line (left pump) (8) Left pump (9) Right pumpWhen pilot valve (4) is moved, hydraulic oil is sent through line (6) to swing priority valve (5). Swing priority valve (5) shifts upward. Since the swing priority valve is shifted, negative flow control oil is blocked from the regulator for the left pump. Therefore, the left pump will be at maximum output until the work tool is no longer activated.High pressure oil from right pump (9) flows through line (7) and passage (3) to check valve (2). High pressure oil from left pump (7) flows through line (1) to check valve (2). The oil from both pumps combines in check valve (2). Two pump flow is now available for the work tool.
