Illustration 1 g00517353Note: Inspect the O-ring seals. Replace any O-ring seals that are worn or damaged.Note: During the installation of the O-ring seals, lubricate the O-ring seals with the fluid that is being sealed.
Install O-ring seal (17), nipple assembly (16), and dust cap (15). Note: The torque converter inlet relief valve has a plug and an O-ring seal instead of nipple assembly (16) and O-ring seal (17).
Install plug (18).
Apply Tooling (A) to plug (19).
Install plug (19).

Install poppet (11), spring (12), retainer (13), and retaining ring (14) in the spool.

Install spool assembly (10), shims (9), and spring (8).
