Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove and Install". The information is in this manual.
Release the air pressure in the air tank until the air pressure is zero.Do Not disconnect the air line from the air compressor governor without purging the air brake and auxiliary air systems.Failure to purge the air brake and auxiliary air systems before removing the air compressor and/or air lines could cause personal injury.
Note: Put identification marks on all lines, hoses and tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, hoses, and tubes. This helps to prevent contaminants from entering the system.
