ROTATING GP-PUMP 2160030 - Caterpillar

(1) Remove the seat assembly, transmission control lever and the back-up alarm switch (1); see the Service Manual.(2) Drill a 6.0 mm Ø (0.24" Ø) hole (A) through both sides of the yoke of 9P387 Shaft Assembly (2) as shown. The hole is drilled through both sides so it will not be necessary to remove the shaft assembly from the housing. (3) Install 6T4320 Switch Assembly (3) with the former bolts (4) and the washers. Put transmission control lever (5) and 6T4317 Bracket Assembly (6) in position on shaft assembly (2). Install former bolt (7) through bracket assembly (6), shaft assembly (2) and lever (5). Install the nut. Connect rod (8) to lever (5) with the former bolt, washers and nut. Connect the wiring to the switch. If necessary, make adjustments to the transmission control linkage. See the "Specifications Section" in the Service Manual.(4) Complete the installation of the transmission control lever and seat assembly; see the Service Manual.
