3406E (2WS, 1MM) Truck EnginesReference: Truck Engine News, February 1997, Page 4, "New Oil Supply And Drain Lines In Turbocharger Oil Lines Groups Used With 'Mid-Mount', 'New Mid-Mount', And 'Low Mount' Arrangements."Description of Change: New turbocharger supply tube assemblies are now used on the above engines. The new tube assemblies no longer use the 45 and 90 degree elbows in order to mount to the oil filter base elbow. The new assemblies now use a straight connector.Adaptable To: The following chart shows the part number of the new and the former turbocharger tube assemblies. The new tube assemblies are effective with 3406C (8PN12910) and 3406E (2WS476, 1MM127) Truck Engines. The new tube assemblies use the straight 137-7343 Connector, in place of the 45 and 90 degree elbows. Be sure to use new 136-7226 and 136-7227 O-Rings when installing the new tube assemblies.
