Remove the tire and rim.

Remove bolts (1). Disconnect drive shaft (2) from fixed axle (3) and push drive shaft (2) toward the rear of the machine.

Disconnect cable assembly (5). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Parking Brake - Remove and Install (Lever Assembly)".
Loosen adjusting nuts (4) and reposition cable assembly (5) out of the bracket.
Disconnect hose assemblies (6).

Position Tooling (B) under fixed axle (3). The weight of fixed axle (3) is approximately 330 kg (728 lb).
Remove bolts (7) and plate (8) on both sides of fixed axel (3).
Carefully use Tooling (B) to remove fixed axle (3).Installation Procedure
Install fixed axle (5) in the reverse order of removal.
Evenly tighten bolts (7).
