Remove Accessory Drive
start by: a) remove fuel injection pump housing and governor1. Disconnect the fuel supply line and the drain line from the fuel transfer pump. 2. Remove the bolt from the fuel priming pump that holds the guide for oil level gauge. Remove the tachometer drive (1).3. Fasten a hoist to the accessory drive housing. Remove the bolts that hold the accessory drive housing to the flywheel housing. Remove the accessory drive housing. Weight of the housing is 80 lb. (36 kg).Install Accessory Drive
1. Fasten a hoist to the accessory drive (1) and put it in position on the engine. Install the bolts that hold it.2. Install the tachometer drive. Install the fuel line and drain line to the fuel transfer pump.3. Install the bolt that holds the guide for the oil level gauge to the fuel priming pump.end by: a) install fuel injection pump housing and governorb) put the fuel injection pump camshaft into time. See See TESTING AND ADJUSTING.Remove Turbocharger
1. Remove the turbocharger lubrication line (1) and the oil drain line (2).2. Remove the turbocharger air outlet pipe and elbow.3. Disconnect air inlet pipe from turbocharger.4. Fasten a hoist and remove the turbocharger mounting bolts and nuts. Remove the turbocharger. Weight is 50 lb. (23 kg).Install Turbocharger
1. Fasten a hoist and put the turbocharger in position on the engine. Install the bolts that hold it to the exhaust manifold. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 40 4 lb.ft. (54.2 5.4 N m).2. Install the air inlet and outlet pipes and elbow.3. Install the lubrication and return line to the turbocharger.
