The bucket cylinder may make abnormal noise at the beginning of a cylinder extension when the engine speed dial is set at position "1" or position "2". This noise is caused by a vacuum condition occurring in the bucket cylinder and bucket cylinder lines due to marginal hydraulic flow from the hydraulic pump.Solution
To resolve this issue, the engine speed dial should be set at a higher engine speed until abnormal noise is gone when performing a bucket extension operation. Setting the engine speed dial to a higher engine speed will prevent a vacuum condition in the bucket cylinder and the hydraulic lines for the bucket cylinder.
