The new 135-5491 Relief Valve Group is a direct replacement for former 6E-6251 Relief Valve Group, used with 6E-6253 and 131-3970 Control Valve Groups.
The new 135-5491 Relief Valve Group is effective with 960F (9ZJ393, 4CL429, 6XL335) Wheel Loaders and is adaptable to 960F (9ZJ1-392, 4CL1-428, 6XL1-334) Wheel Loaders.
Former 6E-6256 and 6E-6251 Relief Valve Groups can be upgraded by replacing 118-5615 Dowel 28.0 mm (1.10 in) with 118-5615 Dowel 26.0 mm (1.02 in), or by reworking the 28.0 mm (1.10 in) dowel to 26.0 mm (1.02 in).
When installing the auxiliary valve group (3rd valve) (D), remove 135-5489 Relief Valve Group (1) or 135-5491 Relief Valve Group (2) from lift and tilt control valve port and install in auxiliary valve group (D), as shown in View B of illustration.Torque relief valve groups to 110 10 N m (80.9 7.4 lb ft).
Install 3G-4135 Plug-O-ring (3), 4J-0522 Seal-O-ring (4), and 7M-8485 Seal-O-ring (5) in lift and tilt control valve port.
