ACTION REQUIRED
Replace the existing 9T-1013 Check Valve Assembly with a new 201-7651 Check Valve Group.
1. Release hydraulic system pressure. Refer to SEBU9187, Operation and Maintenance Manual, "System Pressure - Release", for the correct release procedures.
2. Pull a vacuum on the Hydraulic Tank. Refer to UENR3321, Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic Tank Oil - Retain", for additional information.
3. Remove the 9T-1013 Check Valve Assembly from ride control manifold (4). Refer to Image1 for location of the valve on the machine.
4. Install the new 201-7651 Check Valve Group (1) with 7X-3164 Swivel Adapter (3) and 3K-0360 O-Ring Seal (2) in place of the old 9T-1013 Check Valve Assembly. Refer to Image2, which shows parts removed for clarity.
Note: Ensure that the direction of flow arrow (5) on the 201-7651 Check Valve Group is pointed toward ride control manifold (4). Refer to Image2 and Image3.

The 9T-1013 Check Valve Assembly needs to be replaced on the products listed below. The existing ride control check valve may experience snap ring failure which results in contamination of the hydraulic system and lift cylinder drift, when the ride control is "On". You will not be charged for the service performed.
Contact your local Cat dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service.
If you are no longer the owner of this product(s), please contact your local Cat dealer so that our records can be updated. Please refer the dealer to their Service Letter dated 23Feb2016 when scheduling this service.
