Fabricate plate (11) using 3 mm (0.118 inch) thick steel.
Measure the distance between both gussets on the battery support.
Grind plate (11) to avoid the radius of the gussets.

Drill four 12 mm (0.472 inch) holes in the fender to line up with the holes in the fabricated parts.
Bolt the battery support to the fender using bolts (10), washers (6), and nuts (9).Note: If needed, drill holes (wrench socket diameter) on the battery support to be able to properly torque bolts (10).
Reassembly the battery hold down on the batteries. Torque the hold down to 30 3 N m (22 2 lb ft).

Install new cable (1) to the fender. See Illustration 14. Attach cable (1) to the disconnect switch. Torque to 16 2 N m (142 18 lb in).

Do not use the stud with the p-clip to maintain the B- cable.

Reconnect the B- cable on the battery terminal. Torque to 7.2 1.6 N m (64 14 lb in). Maintain the B- cable with clips (2) and (3), sleeve (4), washer (6), and bolt (5).
Reconnect all cables on the batteries. Torque to 7.2 1.6 N m (64 14 lb in).

Attach the B- cable on the B+ cable using strap (8).

Check that there is a good flex joint between the hold down clip and the fender clip.
Reassemble the left-hand enclosure.
