PL240 and PL240B devices receive time clock information and updates from the GPS system. If GPS connection is lost for a prolonged time, the device hours can drift. If this drift advances hours faster than the device, the potential exists that enough difference in hours may arise that the device can stop reporting.When a situation arises where the "Engine Hours" in Product Link Web or the "Hour Meter" in VisionLink are displaying hours that are different than the hours onboard the equipment, there are certain steps that can be taken.There are no datalinks on the PL241. The user interface will only get hours from the PL241. There are certain steps that can be taken to align the hour meter on the Product Link device to the equipment.Note: Utilizing the "R-Terminal" for engine hour accumulation will show some drift from the actual engine running hours.Check the hours of the equipment.
