PROBLEM
The routing of the 273-0097 Fan Hose needs to be inspected on certain 793D Off-Highway Trucks to ensure that it is not interfering with a frame boss. If the hose is not routed correctly it may interfere with a frame boss. This interference may result in a hose failure that may cause hydraulic oil to contact the turbocharger. If hydraulic oil contacts the turbocharger it may result in a fire, which may cause personal injury or death.

ACTION REQUIRED
Inspect the 273-0097 Fan Hose to ensure no interference with the frame boss as indicated by Image1. If there is any indication of damage to the 273-0097 Fan Hose replace the existing hose with a new one. Orientate the 160-0012/160-0013 two piece clip to ensure sufficient clearance between the hose and frame boss, see Image1.
