Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Note: Oil will drain from all of the hose assemblies and tube assemblies when the hose assemblies and tube assemblies are disconnected from the pilot manifold. Place a suitable container under the pilot manifold in order to contain the oil.

Install Tooling (A) onto the hydraulic tank. Attach an air supply hose onto Tooling (A). Apply 345 69 kPa (50 10 psi) of air. This procedure will pull vacuum on the hydraulic system.

Install solenoid valve (8). Install bolts (3).
Connect fittings (4) and (9).
Connect hose assemblies (2), (6), and (7) .
Connect harness assembly (5).

Close door (1) .
Remove Tooling (A) .
