Before servicing/performing maintenance on the machine, electrical power must be physically disconnected; battery plugs must be disconnected from the batteries, or the trailing cable must be unplugged, and warning tags and padlocks shall be applied by a certified electrician. Certified electricians shall perform or direct any electrical work, including any energized testing, repair work in controllers, motors, or other approved compartments, and shall insure that all compartments are properly closed and inspected prior to re-energization. All applicable lock out and tag out procedures must be followed.
Do not operate the machine if any guards or covers are missing or inadequately secured. Personnel could be seriously injured or machine damage may occur.
Observe the safe working load limits of all lifting and blocking devices and keep a safe distance from suspended/blocked loads. Personnel may be seriously injured or killed by falling loads.

Perform the following troubleshooting procedure if primary software/machine control #1 flash fails:Note: After first flash fails, ECM displays an unprogrammed module with S/N XXXXXXXXYP.
Check the laptop communication leads and USB ports are in proper order and proper condition.
Flash the software for two times.
Disconnect the devices from the CAN BUS in the following order:Note: Reflash once a device is removed. Complete the action step by step will identify which device is causing the flash interruption.
Disconnect the MSS Keypad - 12-pin connector inside fuse panel (Harness tied up top left-hand corner).
Remove the Engine ECM fuse from the fuse panel.Note: Engine ECM (HRC Only).
Disconnect the 4-pin connector from the actuator harness.Note: Throttle actuator (LRC/FLEX Z prefix only).
Disconnect the Product Link.
Remove the connector from back of the keypad in fuse panel.
Remove the gauge cluster and disconnect the 28-pin plug on back of the unit.
Remove the 6-pin connector from joystick(s) harness in the fuse panel.
If the reflash is successful, download the PSR for reference.
If machine does not reflash, Proceed to Section "Troubleshooting Procedure for Secondary Software/Machine Control #2" Step 11.Troubleshooting Procedure for Secondary Software/Machine Control #2
