View From Under Auxiliary Fuel Tank1. Remove five bolts (1) and the washers that hold cover plate (2) in position under the auxiliary fuel tank. Remove the cover plate.2. Drain the fuel from the auxiliary fuel tank in a suitable container for storage or disposal. The capacity of the auxiliary fuel tank is 380 liters (100 U.S. gal). 3. Remove two bolts (3), the washers and the spacers that hold cover (4) in position over the auxiliary fuel tank. Remove the cover from the machine.
View From Under Auxiliary Fuel Tank4. Remove four bolts (5) that hold the auxiliary fuel tank cover and the auxiliary fuel tank to the frame of the machine. 5. Remove clamp (6), and disconnect hose assembly (9) from the fuel tank.6. Remove clamp (7), and disconnect hose assembly (10) from the fuel tank.7. Remove auxiliary fuel tank cover (8) from the machine. 8. Remove bolt (11), the washer and the clamp that hold hose assemblies (9) and (10) in position.9. For installation purposes, put identification marks on four electrical wiring connectors (13) and the three electrical wiring connections on refueling pump solenoid (12). Disconnect the four electrical wiring connectors at the front of the auxiliary fuel tank. Disconnect the three electrical wiring connections at the refueling pump solenoid.
View From Under Machine10. Remove two bolts (16) and the washers that hold auxiliary fuel refueling pump (14) and its mounting bracket (15) to the machine. Remove the auxiliary fuel refueling pump and the mounting bracket, as a unit, from the machine. The following steps are for the installation of the auxiliary fuel refueling pump.
View From Under Machine11. Put auxiliary fuel refueling pump (14), and its mounting bracket (15), in position on the frame of the machine. Install two bolts (16) and the washers that hold the unit in position. 12. Connect the three electrical wiring connections in their original location on refueling pump solenoid (12). Connect four electrical wiring connectors (13) in their original locations on the front of the auxiliary fuel tank. Put hose assembly (9) and hose assembly (10) in position on the auxiliary fuel tank. Install the clamp, bolt (11) and the washer that hold the hose assemblies in position. 13. Install auxiliary fuel tank cover (8) on the machine.14. Connect hose assembly (9) to the front of the fuel tank with clamp (6).15. Connect hose assembly (10) to the fuel tank with clamp (7).
View From Under machine16. Install four bolts (5) that hold the auxiliary fuel tank and the auxiliary fuel tank cover to the machine. 17. Put cover (4) in position over the auxiliary fuel tank. Install two bolts (3), the washers and the spacer that hold it. Refer to the topic "Lubricant Viscosities and Refill Capacities" in the "Operation & Maintenance Manual" for the proper filling procedure and the proper levels for the fuel tank and the auxiliary fuel tank.18. Fill the fuel tank and the auxiliary fuel tank with fuel to the correct levels.19. Start the machine, and check
