15. Remove three bolts (20), the washers and retainer (19) from the front side of the front cushion hitch pin. 16. Disconnect electrical connector (23).17. Disconnect hose assembly (24) and three hose assemblies (25).18. Disconnect hose assembly (26) at the fender of the machine.19. Remove clamp (27). Disconnect hose assembly (28).20. Remove the two bolts, washers and clamp (22). Remove block (21). 21. Disconnect tube assembly (29).22. Remove clamp (34).23. Remove two bolts (30) and the nuts.24. Remove cotter pin (33). Remove spring assembly (32). Remove clamp (31). 25. Disconnect hose assemblies (35) and (36) from the cushion hitch load cylinder. 26. Fasten a lifting sling and a hoist to cushion hitch leveling valve and mounting bracket (37) as shown. Remove four bolts (38) and the washers. Remove the bolts, washers, nuts and four clamps (39). Remove the cushion hitch leveling valve and tube assemblies as a unit. The weight of the unit is 77 kg (175 lb). 27. Disconnect tube assembly (40).28. Remove clamp (41).29. Disconnect both ends of tube assemblies (42). 30. Remove clamps (43) and (44).31. Disconnect tube assembly (48). Remove two bolts (45) to free tube assembly (48) from the mounting bracket.32. Remove two bolts (46) that hold the hydraulic junction block in position. Allow the hydraulic junction block to hang freely.33. Disconnect tube assembly (47) and hose assemblies (49). 34. Remove two bolts (52) from the clamp located under the cushion hitch. The clamp holds three tube assemblies (50) and the hose assemblies in position under the cushion hitch.35. Remove the bolts, washers and retainer (51) from the rear side of the cushion hitch rear pin. 36. Remove four bolts (53) and the washers. Remove bracket (54) and the tube assemblies as a unit. 37. Remove two bolts (55) and the washers. Move the bracket, tube assemblies and hose assemblies (56) clear of the cushion hitch. 38. Remove the cotter pin and pin from the large nut on the front side of the rear cushion hitch pin. Remove the large nut from the front side of the rear cushion hitch pin with Tool (A).39. Fasten a hoist to cushion hitch (57) as shown.40. Put a chain around the cushion hitch load cylinder to hold it in the retracted position.41. Lift the weight of the cushion hitch off of the pins that hold it to the tractor. 42. Using a pry bar, remove cushion hitch front pin (58). 43. Put a wood block and Tooling (B) in position against cushion hitch rear pin (59) as shown. Using Tooling (B), remove the cushion hitch rear pin.44. Remove the cushion hitch from the machine. The weight of the cushion hitch is 1588 kg (3500 lb).Install Cushion Hitch
1. During installation of the cushion hitch, check the condition of the O-ring seals used in the ends of all disconnected tube assemblies and hose assemblies. If any of the seal are damaged, use new parts for replacement. Be sure the O-ring seals are in position prior to connecting a
