Pressurized system! Hot coolant can cause serious burns, injury or death. To open the cooling system filler cap, stop the engine and wait until the cooling system components are cool. Loosen the cooling system pressure cap slowly in order to relieve the pressure. Read and understand the Operation and Maintenance Manual before performing any cooling system maintenance.

Rotating fan blades can result in injury or death.Stop the engine and allow the fan to come to a complete stop before opening the guard door.When the cooling package is to be inspected or cleaned, turn the battery disconnect switch to OFF and remove the key.Before starting the engine, make sure the external finger guard is installed and the guard door is closed. Do not allow any tools or equipment to protrude or vibrate into the path of the rotating fan blades.
