start by:a) remove front drive shaftb) remove axles (front) 1. Remove plug (1) and drain the oil from the front axle housing. 2. Disconnect the two brake lines (2) and line (3) from junction block (4). 3. Remove all but two of bolts (5) that hold the differential in position.4. Fasten tooling (A) to the differential as shown. 5. Remove the remainder of bolts (5) and use two 1/2"-13 NC forcing screws to loosen the differential from the axle housing.6. Use tooling (A) and remove the differential from the machine. The weight of the differential is 180 kg (400 lb.).Install Front Differential
1. Fasten the differential to tooling (A) as shown.2. Make sure the O-ring seal is installed around the differential carrier and put clean oil on it. 3. Use tooling (A) and put the differential in position in the front axle housing. Two 3/4"-10 NC guide bolts (1) can be used to keep the differential in alignment. 4. Install bolts (2) and tighten them to a torque of 475 50 N m (350 37 lb.ft.). 5. Connect brake lines (3) and (4) to junction block (5). Remove (bleed) the air from the brake system.6.
