Use a suitable press in order to install gear (21) and the other components in the case. Repeat Steps 13 through 17 for the remaining gears and the other components.

Install plate (20) with bolts (19) . Tighten bolts (19) to a torque of 300 70 N m (221 52 lb ft).

Install Tooling (E) . Use Tooling (E) and a suitable lifting device in order to place carrier assembly (18) in position on the hub. The weight of the carrier assembly is approximately 75 kg (165 lb).
Install bolts (17) . Remove Tooling (E) .

Attach Tooling (E) , as shown. Remove the bolts that hold the final drive assembly to Tooling (F) . Remove the final drive assembly and position the final drive assembly in order to install the final components. Remove Tooling (E) .

Lower the temperature of bearing (16) . Install the bearing in the final drive assembly.Note: The bearing must be properly seated.

Lower the temperature of race (15) . Install the race in the final drive assembly.Note: The race must be properly seated.

Install shaft (14) in the final drive assembly.

Install O-ring seal (13) to cover (12) .
Place the cover in position and install bolts (11) .

Raise the temperature of bearing (10) . Install the bearing on the gear.

Raise the temperature of race (7) . Install the race on gear (8) , as shown. Repeat this Step for the race on the other side of gear (8) .Note: The race must be properly seated.

Install gear (9) and gear (8) in the final drive assembly.Note: Do not apply the sealant at this time.

Lower the temperature of bearing (5) . Install the bearing in cage (6) .Note: The bearing must be properly seated.
Install O-ring seal (4) , O-ring seals (2) , O-ring seal (3) , and studs (1) .End By: Install the final drive and the sprocket. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Final Drive and Sprocket - Install".
