Check that the connectors for the remote switch are tight.
Carefully inspect the harness for signs of abrasion, nicks, or cuts.The following areas are locations that should be checked:
Exposed wires
Points of rubbing wireExpected Result:The harness is free of abrasion, nicks, or cuts. The harness connectors are tight.Results:
OK - The harness is free of abrasion, nicks, or cuts. The harness connectors are tight. Proceed to test step 2
NOT OK - A problem exists with the wire harness.Repair: Repair the harness or replace the harness, as required. Check to see if the diagnostic code is still active. If the diagnostic code is not active, return the machine to normal operation. Proceed to Test Step 2 if the diagnostic code is still active.Test Step 2. MEASURE THE RESISTANCE OF THE REMOTE AUTO/MANUAL SWITCH
Remove the connector "CB C3" from the display.
Measure the resistance according to Table 1.

YES - The measured resistances is are correct.Repair: No problem at this time.Reconnect the harness and return the machine to normal operation.Initial problem may have been caused by a loose connection. If the diagnostic code returns, proceed to Test Step 3.
NO - One or more of the measured resistances are not correct. Proceed to Test Step 3.Test Step 3. CHECK THE OPERATION OF THE REMOTE SWITCHMeasure the resistances according to the following table:
