The 263-5792 Fuel Level Sender As of the fuel tank group may fail on machines listed above. The fuel sender assembly may malfunction due to contamination of fuel inside the fuel tank.Solution
Use the following interim action to control fuel contamination in fuel tank:

(1) Fuel filler (2) 263-5792 Fuel Level Sender As (3) Fuel drain valve
Keep the area around the fuel tank filler neck clean of debris.
After the fuel tank has been filled, allow the fuel to settle for ten minutes. The action will allow the water and debris to separate from the fuel.
Drain the water and debris from fuel tank. Refer Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU8419, "Fuel Tank Water and Sediment - Drain" for D6R machines. Refer Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU8592, "Fuel Tank Water and Sediment - Drain" for D7R machines.Note: Drain water and sediment from fuel tank for every 250 hour service interval or monthly.
