Run the machine without the speed sensor (3) until one of the four corners of the square nut faces the hole for the sensor.
Apply 5P-3413 Pipe Sealant to the threads of the speed sensor (3).
Screw the speed sensor (3) until the sensor touches the square nut. Unscrew approximately one turn.
Gap between the speed sensor (3) and the shaft 1.5 0.5 mm (0.06 0.02 inch)
The nut that secures the speed sensor (3) should be torqued to 15 1 N m (11 1 lb ft).
