Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Before replacing the track assemblies, check the tension of the tracks. Refer to SEBU8577, Operation and Maintenance Manual, Maintenance Section, "Track Adjustment - Adjust". Refer to Image1.1.3.
For detailed visual inspection of/for cracks in the track links, refer to Image1.1.1. and 1.1.2.
If track adjustment is out of specification and no available adjustment and there is and/or cracks have been identified in the links as shown in Images1.1.1 and 1.1.2, replace the left and right track assemblies.
Refer to RENR9437, Disassembly and Assembly, "Track - Separate" and "Track - Connect".
Note: The sag specification for the track (distance B) is 25 to 35mm (1.0 to 1.4 inch). Refer to Image1.1.3.
