If there has been a previous repair, part age/hours will apply. Retain a copy of the previous repair invoice in the dealer's records for audit purposes, and specify repair date and machine hours in the "Additional Comments" section of the warranty claim.
An after failure claim is defined as a cracked wheel that cannot be salvaged and reused as per SEBF9414. The part hours on the wheel will fall into one of three allowance percentages. All other parts in "parts needed" table will be covered at 100% based on the conditions as described below.
Claim note for salvage of 2704457/">270-4457 Rear Wheels when a crack is found on a wheel that is on a truck: If the wheel is salvaged, the grind process is a before failure repair. This repair requires no parts. Four hour labor limit will be allowed. If removal is required due to crack limitations per SEBF9414, this constitutes a failure and the parts required to make the repair are covered. All parts listed are at 100% cost except the wheel which will fall into one of the three allowance percentages based on wheel hours. An additional 76 hours of labor is allowed to cover the remove and install of the rear wheel assembly.

The wheel will fall into one of three of the allowance percentages based on wheel hours. No other parts are covered under this condition. No labor other than four hour salvaged allowed under this condition since a cracked wheel is not reason for removal.

When replacing 2704457/">270-4457 Rear Wheels use a Miscellaneous Line within the Detail Section of the claim with the description of CATPRT and enter the Dealer Net Price manually. Two requirements are to include the Part Number of the replacement Rear Wheel being used and also the Dealership Dealer Net Price within the Claim Story.
