Removal Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.
Open the hood.

Attach a suitable lifting device to muffler (1). Remove bolts (2) .

Loosen clamp (3). Position clamp (3) out of the way.
Remove bolts (5) and remove shield (4) .

Raise muffler (1) and remove elbow (6) .

Remove muffler (1). The weight of muffler (1) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb).Installation Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Attach a suitable lifting device to muffler (1). The weight of muffler (1) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb).

Install elbow (6) and lower muffler (1) .

Install shield (4) and bolts (5) .
Tighten clamp (3) .

Install bolts (2). Remove the suitable lifting device from muffler (1).
Close the hood.
