Remove bolts (13) and plate (14).

Install Tooling (D) to press planetary carrier (15) out of wheel flange (16).

Attach a suitable lifting device to planetary carrier (15). The weight of planetary carrier (15) is approximately 42 kg (93 lb). Use the suitable lifting device to remove planetary carrier (15) from brake housing (7).

Remove bearing (17) from planetary carrier (15).

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Remove the bolts and plate (18).

Install breather valve (21) that was removed during the brake and planetary removal Procedure. Use compressed air to help in the removal of brake piston (22). Remove bleeder screw (21).

Remove guide ring (23). Remove backup rings (24). Remove grooved rings (25).

Attach Tooling (E) and a suitable lifting device to brake housing (7). The weight of brake housing (7) is approximately 60 kg (132 lb). Remove brake housing (7) from wheel flange (16).
