Description of Change: New fuel filter brackets are now used on the engines that are listed above. The new brackets without weld nuts have increased durability. Each of the two new brackets are used with two fuel lines groups.Adaptable To: The new 338-1501 Mounting Bracket As is a direct replacement for the former 248-7672 Bracket As, which is cancelled.Table 1 lists the parts that are applicable to the 248-7670 Fuel Lines Gp and the 261-2956 Fuel Lines Gp. The parts that are listed in Table 1 are required in order to replace the 248-7672 Bracket As with the 338-1501 Bracket As. Except for the parts that have been added, the part numbers that are listed in Table 1 are direct replacements for the former part numbers.
