Illustration 1 g02159418The crankcase breathers are located on the valve covers.
Remove the tube (1) from the outlet of the breather and loosen the clamp.
Remove the breather from the engine.
Check the condition of the seal. Replace the seal if the seal is damaged.
Remove the breather element. Wash the breather element and wash the breather in a clean nonflammable solvent.
Shake the breather element until the breather element is dry. You may also use pressurized air in order to dry the breather element.
Check the condition of the tube. Replace the tube if the tube is damaged.
Install the element into the breather and install the breather.
Install the tube onto the outlet of the breather cover and tighten the clamp.
