Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove engine oil pump.
Remove fuel control actuator.
Remove gas pressure regulator.
Remove gas shutoff valve.
Remove heat exchanger.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove cylinder block side cover (1).

Remove bolts (2) and retainer (3).
Remove piston cooling jet (4) from the inside of the cylinder block. Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Position piston cooling jet (4) in the cylinder block. Ensure that the oil holes in the end of the piston cooling jet are facing toward the piston.
Install retainer (3) and bolts (2).

Install cylinder block side cover (1). End By:
Install heat exchanger.
Install gas shutoff valve.
Install gas pressure regulator.
Install fuel control actuator.
Install the engine oil pump.
