Attach Tooling (B) to both ends of rear oscillating axle (10). Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to Tooling (B). The weight of rear oscillating axle (10) is approximately 6700 kg (14771 lb).

Remove bolts (12) that secure front trunnion support (14) to the rear main frame.
Remove bolts (11) that secure rear trunnion support (13) to the rear main frame.
Lower rear oscillating axle (10) to the ground or a suitable skid. Pull rear oscillating axle (10) outward by using a suitable towing machine.Installation Procedure

Position rear oscillating axle (10) under the rear main frame.
Attach Tooling (B) to both ends of rear oscillating axle (10). Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to Tooling (B). The weight of rear oscillating axle (10) is approximately 6700 kg (14771 lb).

Apply Tooling (C) onto the dowels (15) and (16) in the trunnion supports.

Raise rear oscillating axle (10). Make sure that dowels (15) and (16) are aligned with the holes in the rear main frame.
Install bolts (12) and bolts (13). Tighten bolts (12) to a torque of 1600 200 N m (1180 148 lb ft). Tighten bolts (11) to a torque of 900 100 N m (664 74 lb ft).

Place a suitable block between rear oscillating axle (10) and the rear main frame of the machine to prevent rear oscillating axle (10) from oscillating during the installation procedure.
Remove the suitable lifting device and Tooling (B).

Install the O-ring seal and temperature sensor (7).
Install clamps (2), (3), and (5) that secure harness assembly (6).
Connect harness assembly (6) to temperature sensor (7).
Connect hose assembly (1), hose assembly (8), and tube assembly (4).
Fill the rear oscillating axle housing and the final drive assemblies with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Differential and Final Drive Oil - Change"
End by:a. Drive Shaft (Rear).b. Remove Crankcase Guard.c. Remove Tire and Rim (Rear).d. Release System Pressure.
