Engines that operate in severe operating conditions may require more frequent maintenance.Before each consecutive interval is performed, all of the maintenance requirements from the previous interval must also be performed.The normal oil change interval is Every 500 Service Hours or Six Months. Engines that are operated under severe conditions may need to change the oil at Every 250 Service Hours or Every Three Months. Severe service includes the following conditions: high temperatures , continuous high loads and extremely dusty conditions .Refer to the results of the S O S oil analysis in order to determine if the oil change interval should be decreased to 250 hours. Consult your Caterpillar Dealer for detailed information regarding the optimum oil change interval.When Required
