Attach a suitable lifting device to lifting eye (1) on the upper jaw of the Mechanical Grapple.

Lift the upper jaw into position. Align the bore of the upper jaw with the bore of the lower jaw.
Lubricate pin (2) and slide pin (2) into the pin bore.
Install the bolt and install the 2 nuts in order to secure pin (2) .
Lubricate the pin and the bushings before you use the Mechanical Grapple.Installation Procedure (Push Bar)

Align the bore of push bar (3) with the bore in the housing of the lower jaw.
Lubricate pin (4) and slide pin (4) into the pin bore.
Install bolt (5). Install 2 nuts (6) onto bolt (5) .
Lubricate the pin and the bushings before you use the Mechanical Grapple.
