Check the condition of all O-ring seals and of all parts. If any components are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. 1. Install Tooling (B) to final drive, brake and wheel (12). Attach a hoist and suitable lifting chains to Tooling (B). Install a suitable lifting sling to final drive, brake and wheel (12). The weight of final drive, brake and wheel (12) is 1120 kg (2470 lb).2. Install final drive, brake and wheel (12) to the machine. 3. Install 24 bolts (13) and the washers. Tighten 24 bolts (13) to a torque of 1000 125 N*m (740 90 lb ft). 4. Install the O-ring seal, the adapter and four bolts (6).5. Install the O-ring seal, the adapter and four bolts (10).6. Connect hose assemblies (7), (8), (9) and (11). 7. Connect hose assemblies (4) and (5). 8. Install Tooling (A) to planetary carrier (2). Attach a hoist and suitable lifting chains to Tooling (A). The weight of planetary carrier (2) is 207 kg (459 lb).9. Install O-ring seal (3) to planetary carrier (2). 10. Install planetary carrier (2) and four bolts (1). Tighten four bolts (1) to a torque of 100 20 N*m (76 15 lb ft).11. Purge the air from the braking system. Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, Braking System, "Braking System Air - Purge" for the machine that is being serviced.12. Fill the hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic Tank Oil Level - Check" for the machine that is being serviced. End By:a. Install the axle shaft.
