Information:

Check Oil Level
1. Park the machine on level ground.2. Clean the area around the filler-level plug (1) and remove the plug.3. Add oil if necessary to the level of the hole. Clean and refit the plug. Fuel Tank
Clean Strainer
Diesel fuel and fumes will be released during the following procedure. This could create a fire hazard.Prevent anyone from smoking or exposing naked flame or sparks near the machine.
1. Remove the filler cap.2. Check the filler cap seal for damage and install a new one if necessary. 3. Remove the retainer clip (1) and pull out the strainer.4. Wash the strainer in clean nonflammable solvent and check for damage. Install a new one if necessary.Fuel Filters
Clean Primary and Change Secondary
1. Stop the engine and apply the parking brake. 2. Loosen the bolt on top of the primary filter base and lower the housing. 3. Remove the filter element and wash both element and housing in clean, nonflammable solvent.4. Replace the filter gasket if damaged.5. Install the filter element and housing.6. Tighten the retaining bolt.
Do not fill fuel filters with fuel before installing them. Contaminated fuel will cause accelerated wear to fuel system components.
7. Use a strap wrench to remove the secondary filter. Discard the used element.8. Clean the filter housing base. Make sure that all of the old element seal is cleaned off the base.9. Lightly smear the seal of the new element with clean fuel.10. Install the filter by hand. When the seal contacts the base tighten 3/4 turn more.11. Prime the fuel system. See "Priming the Fuel System" below.Priming the Fuel System
1. Unlock the priming pump plunger and operate the pump until strong resistance is felt.2. Lock the pump plunger.3. Start the engine and inspect for leaks.if Engine will not start
The injection pumps and high pressure lines must be primed if the engine does not start, or will not run smoothly after priming the filters and pump housing. Each injection pump has a reverse flow check valve. These cannot be opened with hand priming pump pressure.
Fuel spillage will occur when priming the fuel system. This could create a fire hazard.Minimise fuel spillage and wrap a dry cloth around the fuel line nuts to soak up fuel bled from the lines.
1. Loosen each of the fuel line nuts at the cylinder head end.2. Crank the engine with the starting motor until fuel flows, free of air bubbles, from each of the injection lines.3. Tighten each of the fuel line nuts to a torque setting of 41 7 Nm. (30 5 lb. ft.).The fuel injection nozzles can be permanently damaged if only one wrench is used to loosen or tighten the fuel line nuts Use one wrench to hold the nozzle and another to loosen or tighten the nut.4. Start the engine and check for leaks.Transmission
Change Filter
1. Remove the filter housing drain plug and allow the oil to drain into a suitable container.2. Remove the housing. 3. Remove and discard the old element.4. Wash the housing and plug in clean, nonflammable
