ACTION REQUIRED
Before Failure:
1. Secure the machine on level ground.
2. Attach a strap around track belt above the front axle in order to raise the belt, allowing tool access to the mounting bolts.
3. One at a time, loosen the bolt, then tighten to a specified torque of 120 +/- 10 N.m (86 +/- 7 lb-ft), and turn an additional 60 +/- 5 degrees.
4. Repeat on the other side of the machine.
After Failure:
1. Secure the machine on level ground.
2. Attach a strap around the track belt above the loose front axle in order to raise the belt, allowing tool access to mounting bolts.
3. Remove the hardware and check the tapped holes for thread damage. If damage exists, repair the threads.
4. Assemble the new hardware and tighten bolts to a specified torque of 120 +/- 10 N.m (86 +/- 7 lb-ft), and turn an additional 60 +/- 5 degrees.
5. For the machine side without loose axle, loosen the bolts one at a time, then tighten to a specified torque of 120 +/- 10 N.m (86 +/- 7 lb-ft), and turn an additional 60 +/- 5 degrees.
