This Special Instruction covers the installation procedure for 443-7976 Control Gp Revision Level 00 on the models and applications listed above.Safety Section

Park the machine on a level surface.Attach a "Do Not Operate" warning tag or a similar warning tag to the start switch or to the controls before you service the equipment . These warning tags (Special Instruction, SEHS7332) are available from your Caterpillar dealer.Required Parts

Install plate (4) onto the right side of the main valve.

Secure ECM (3) onto plate (4).
Attach the ground strap.
Connect harness (A).
Unless specified, tighten all fittings and hardware to standard torque.Calibration
Calibrate the machine electronic control system
ECM (3) becomes "Implement Control #3" in Electronic Technician (ET) and is to be flashed using the same "Implement Control" flash file that is used on "Implement Control #1 and #2".Note: For further information use the latest software available in SIS web for this machine serial number.
