Install wire tie-wrap (12) .

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to the front lifting eye of the engine.

Attach a suitable lifting device to bumper (6) .

Place bumper (6) in position. Weight of the bumper is 32 kg (70 lb). Install two nuts (11) and the washers. Tighten nuts (11) to a torque of 270 40 N m (200 30 lb ft).

Install two reflectors (9) and (10) .

Install two bolts (8) and (7), the nuts and the washers. Bolts (8) and (7) also secure the bumper. Tighten bolts (8) and (7) to a torque of 270 40 N m (200 30 lb ft).

This machine is a 246. All models have the same lifting eyes.
Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to the front lifting eye of the engine.
Raise the Tooling (A) until the weight of the engine has been removed from the front engine support.

The bumper has been removed in this photo in order to display the placement of the wood block.
Remove the wood block from the front engine support.
Check the condition of the front engine mount prior to installation. Replace the front engine mount if wear is shown.

Install the front engine mount in position under the front engine support. Lower the front of the engine onto the engine mount.

Install the washers. Install nut (5) and the bolt. Tighten bolt (5) to 120 10 N m (88 7 lb ft).

Install cover (4). Secure cover (4) with four bolts (3) and the washers.

Connect positive cable (1) to the positive terminal of the battery. Install the terminal cover.
Connect negative cable (2) to the negative terminal of the battery. Install the terminal cover.End By:
Install the muffler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Muffler - Remove and Install".
Install the air cleaner. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Cleaner - Remove and Install".
Install the radiator and hydraulic oil cooler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator and Hydraulic Oil Cooler - Install".
Lower the cab. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cab Tilt".
