Rotate Circuit Test and Adjust
Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic systems after the engine and pump have been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic systems. To prevent possible injury, refer to section "Release of Pressure in the Hydraulic System", before any fitting hose or component is loosened, tightened, removed or adjusted.
Set Main Pressure Relief
1. Position the boom and stick for access to the end of the rotate tubes.2. Turn the engine off and place the hydraulic activation control lever in the locked position.3. Disconnect the rotate hose assemblies at the end of the boom or stick and cap the tube assemblies.4. Install a pressure guage in the pressure line between the pump and rotate valve. The pressure guage must be capable of a minimum of 4000 psi.5. Run the engine at high idle (dial position 10), AEC off and the hydraulic activation control lever in the unlocked position. Depress the right hand thumb switch in either direction. Adjust the pressure to manufacturers specifications for the attachment being used. The adjustment screw (D) is located in the base of the rotate valve. Turning the screw clockwise increases pressure. Turning the screw counterclockwise decreases pressure. (Valve range is 500 to 3000 psi, 3450 to 20,700 Kpa)6. Turn the engine off and place the hydraulic activation control lever in the locked position.

7. Remove the caps that were installed at the end of the rotate tubes.8. Reconnect the rotate hose assemblies.Line Reliefs
The line reliefs (C) are preset at the factory to 3000 psi. The line reliefs are not adjustable. This is a crossover relief circuit and should not be used with a cylinder.Set Rotate Flow
1. Install a flow meter between the rotate lines at the end of the boom or stick. Set the engine at high idle speed (dial position 10), turn the AEC off and place the hydraulic activation control lever in the unlocked position. Depress the thumb switch on the right hand control lever in either direction. Adjust the flow on one half of the valve by turning the adjustment screw (A) on the rotate valve Adjust flow to the specifications of the manufacturer of the attachment being serviced by this circuit. Turning the adjustment screw clockwise reduces flow. Turning the adjustment counterclockwise increases flow.3. Move the thumb switch on the right hand control lever in the opposite direction. Turn screw (A) to adjust flow to the specifications of the manufacturer of the attachment being serviced by this circuit.4. Remove the flow meter from the rotate lines. Connect the rotate lines to
