Rotate rotary knob (1) in order to highlight the desired user mode. Press the center of rotary knob (1) in order to save the desired user mode. The display will automatically return to the operational position.
If you press "ESC" button (2), the display returns to the operational position without changing the user mode.
When the "working brake mode" function is activated the service brake will automatically apply when the travel pedals are in the neutral position and the machine is not moving. This function is used when the machine is operated in steep terrain in order to prevent machine movement during machine loading. This mode eliminates the need to manually engage the brake when the travel pedals are released.
"Hydrostat Function". If the machine is using the hydrostatic function and an alarm occurs, the alarm will interrupt the hydrostatic functions of the machine. The operator can select the limp home mode and this will allow the forwarder to travel at a reduced speed. This function forces the travel motor to maximum displacement.
"Boom Control". This function allows the selection of two different patterns for the boom control, SAE or "forestry".
"Rotator direction". This function allows the adjustment of the direction of the crane rotator relative to joystick movement. The rotator can be set to normal or opposite.
"Tele boom direction". This function allows the adjustment of the direction of the tele boom relative to joystick movement. The boom can be set to normal of opposite.
"Rear axle". This function allows the option of automatically disconnecting the rear axle when the transmission is in high gear.
"Diff lock in high gear". This function allows the option of automatically disconnecting the differential locks when the transmission is in high gear.
"Wiper delay". This function allows the time delay switch for the wiper to be set between 1000 milliseconds to 10000 milliseconds.
"Units". This function allows the option of using ENGLISH units or metric units.
"Oil heater circuit enabled". This function allows the option of enabling the circuit for the oil heater. The setting for the pump compensator is adjusted by using a solenoid valve. The adjustment will increase the pump flow through the circuit for cooling and/or warming the oil. A message will be displayed when the machine is started and the hydraulic fluid is below 65°F. The message will ask the operator if the circuit for the heater should be started. If "yes" is selected, the machine will be kept at idle and no function will work until the hydraulic oil temperature reaches 65°F. Once the hydraulic oil is warmed, the feature automatically turns off.
