The following information is provided to access the personalization parameters.The following conditions must be met before the parameters can be accessed:
The UPSB door must be open
The UPSB must be energized
The UPSB must be in maintenance modeThe process to change the parameters involves accessing the parameters, then changing the parameters.Accessing Personalization Parameters
Press the main menu key (9) .
Press the next key (7) until settings is highlighted on the display.
Press the enter key (8) .
Press the next key (7) until personalization is highlighted.
Press the enter key (8) .
Press the decrease (5) or increase (6) keys until the first digit of the password is displayed.
Press the next key (7) .
Repeat steps 6 and 7 to set the second and third digits of the password.
Press the enter key (8) .Note: The default password: 000Parameters
Most of the parameter changes require UPS restart. Before starting the personalization sequence, the UPS must be transferred to manual bypass. That is, power for the load must be supplied via the bypass AC source.Table 1 lists the parameters that are available for change.

( 1 ) Some personalization functions may not be available, depending on the installation.
( 2 ) This parameter setting is dynamic. Therefore, transferred to manual bypass is not required for the UPS.
( 3 ) Battery discharge beyond the permitted limit will lead to irreversible damage to the battery. The deep discharge parameter is dynamic and does not require the UPS to be transferred to manual bypass.After the personalization sequence is completed, the UPS must be transferred back to normal AC power. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU8275, "Return to Normal Operation" section to transferred back to normal AC power.Selection of Protection Devices
