If equipped with a rear PTO shaft, remove retaining ring (1), bearing assembly (3), and output shaft (4). Remove retaining ring (2) in order to remove bearing assembly (3) from output shaft (4) .

Install Tooling (A) onto the transmission housing.

Use Tooling (B), Tooling (C), and a suitable lifting device in order to install transmission and torque converter (6) onto Tooling (D). The weight of transmission and torque converter (6) is approximately 590 kg (1300 lb).Note: Three 1/2-20 bolts and one 3/8-24 bolt are used to mount the transmission to Tooling (D) .
